Hi, I’m Gina.

Last year (Nov 2021) I became a mama. It’s been a wild ride to say the least. I quickly realized I knew very little about the nitty gritty details of being a mom. Sure, there is the mother’s intuition which kicks in of course, but then there’s all this other ‘stuff’ I had no idea about. Hard stuff. Weird stuff. Unspoken stuff.

I kept thinking to myself, “Did all of my mom friends go through this too? How come we’ve never talked about this? They seemed to have survived this new mom chapter of life. Can I?” I couldn’t believe that virtually all of the women in my life had gone through the same thing, but we’d talked so little about the gory details.

I quickly realized that as a new mom, what gets you through is talking to other moms about their experiences. It’s knowing that you’re not alone. That they went through it too.

That’s where Mama-To-Mamas was born. I guess I have my case of postpartum anxiety to thank (at least it’s good for something) for being the reason I needed to have these convos. I needed to have heart-to-hearts with my mom friends. I had so many questions for them. And I needed answers. I needed to hear their stories, to learn from them, and to be reminded that I do not walk this path alone.

I hope you enjoy these heart-to-heart conversations with my mom friends and that they bring you as much comfort as they do me. And maybe — just maybe — I’ll help another soon-to-be newbie on their journey to becoming a mom.

xoxo, Gina

Oh, p.s. Meet Maddox. The tiny human who made me a mama. And the love of my life (along with my hubby).
