Episode 4: Alexis Archambault
I don’t know if I could have gotten through my postpartum journey without my bff, Alexis. We’ve been friends for about 15 years now, which means we’ve been through so many chapters of life together. I hadn’t thought of this until now, but she’s been at least 5-6 years ahead of me for big life milestones like getting married and having kids, which means I’ve gotten to be on the receiving end of all of her wisdom and advice. I do not take this for granted!
When we met freshman year of college, it was all so easy and familiar, like we’d known each other all along. Like we were destined to meet. And, well, clearly that was the case because here we are all these years later.
This episode of Mama-To-Mama’s is a special one. It really is just two best friends having a heart-to-heart. We dive into:
Friendship and being a good friend to a new mom
Cultivating a circle of moms
What postpartum anxiety and worry really looks like and how it evolves over the years
Having second babies and what changes
How to care for your relationship after kids
Hope you enjoy! You can learn more about Alexis at her website Alexis Archambault Educational Therapy.
