Episode 5: Andrea Simon

Andrea and I go way back. I’ll never forget the first time I met her during my first week of college after becoming Thetas together. It’s so special to hold memories with someone that are so specific that no one else would understand unless they were part of that experience with you. Dre and I have that for college, living in SF post-college, and then NYC.

One of the things I love about Dre is just how real and honest she is. She’s never been afraid to be herself and her confidence in who she is is something to be admired. When it comes to being a friend, she’s as true as they come. The kind that’s there through thick and thin. It’s truly an honor being her friend.

This episode is so special. We dive into:

  • Birth experiences and varying degrees of trauma

  • Relationship to our bodies after birth

  • Her breastfeeding and pumping experience with both of her babies

  • Being a working mom

  • And so much more!

She drops such amazing wisdom in this episode and I know you’ll love it as much as I do.
